Mexican Ceramics Adventure – Lecture and Demonstration
A fun, very easy, no fuss introduction to Ceramics! This two hour class will take you on a journey through all the aspects of Ceramics, from seeing live demos of wheel thrown pottery, to hand building with slabs and coils of clay, we will explore examples of everything our studio has to offer. Traditional Mexican and Pre-Colombian cookware plus more will be on display. Come play in the clay. As clay takes several steps to complete, we encourage you to sign up for our on-going classes to complete your own ceramics!!
Mexican Mondays, Culture and Art Painting Class
Cada lunes por la mañana exploraremos una tradición, ícono, arte popular o diseño mexicano.
Haremos obras de arte basadas en el tema del lunes. La clase comenzará con un poco de historia del tema y discutirá cómo el tema te inspira y el arte que te gustaría crear.
Juntos, cada estudiante hará una obra de arte.
Por lo general, un lienzo pequeño o, a veces, puede ser un medio diferente.
Los suministros estarán disponibles y si desea llevar su trabajo a casa, los lienzos están disponibles en la tienda Art Vallarta por un costo nominal.
