One Piece Mold Making with Plaster

In this Workshop we will be exploring Plaster and how we turn a powder into a stone with water. We will make usable molds for dinnerware, stamps, slip castings, soap making, etc. Students are walked through the process of making a proper cast and all the steps needed for success. All materials included, students are encouraged to bring in 2 large or multiple small pieces to be molded(Dinner pieces, favorite stamps/texture). Please wear clothes that you do not mind getting dirty. Molds will need to dry an hour before pick-up or Members are welcome to leave and store at the studio
