DESCRIPTION:Enjoy and learn about painting in nature. This class will take place on the Playa de los Muertos beach. Ernesto Guerra\, a talented acrylic artists with host your class and help you get prepared for your beach painting. You will decide what you would like to paint and set up your painting area. Portable easels and a stoll will be supplied.  An acrylic painting kit you can take home is available or you can use the paints and brushes at the beach. Canvases or Canvas boards are not included so you can bring one or pick one up for at the ART VallARTa store (usually  4 to 12 USD\, many sizes available. \nPlease bring sunscreen\, a hat\, water bottle and even a swim suit if you want to jump in the ocean. \nEveryone will meet at ART VallARTa at 8:45 to register\, pick a canvas if necessary\, grab a supply bag and you will all walk down to the beach and get settled. A Real Plein Air adventure. \n

DESCRIPTION:This three day workshop will cover everything for completing a successful\, colorful and lively Still Life painting. We will include Mexican ceramics in the Still Life set-up and also add local fruit and vegetables to create an authentic Mexican tabletop scene. Good composition\, dramatic light effects\, balanced values\, and color mixing will all be covered for beginners and advanced students. We will start with a finished charcoal drawing and then quickly work into color. It is primarily an Oil Painting workshop but Acrylic and other mediums are welcome.

While gaining knowledge of the fundamental principles of perception—light\, plane-structure\, tonal value\, perspective\, proportion—students in Bart’s classes will learn to construct images that realistically and accurately interpret the form and texture in space. The drawing class will consist of the process of understanding the essentials of composition\, enhanced light effects and directing the viewer’s gaze which provides the opportunity to develop a more complete drawing. This solid foundation will enable students to express their personal creative vocabulary more clearly and effectively.

Come paint on the beach with us every Tuesday morning.  ART VallARTa offers Plein Air painting on the Playa Los Muertos beach.  Adrian Rojas\, one of Puerto Vallarta’s most popular painting instructor will help you with your beach theme painting\, guiding you through the painting process. Open to beginners and experienced painters. Enjoy relaxed painting in nature.We set up the easels on the Playa de los Muertos Puerto Vallarta beach. \nMeet at ART VallARTa at 8:45am to gather supplies\, paints and canvases\, followed by a short walk to the beach. Drop-ins are welcome but pre-registration encouraged\, so we can assure easels and supplies and adequate instruction for everyone.You can paint in whichever medium you prefer\, acrylic\, oil\, watercolor… \nAdrian our instructor is well versed in a variety of mediums.Please let us know in advance if you are not going to work in acrylic. Artist materials of other mediums may be available free of charge if we know in advance of the class. Easels\, sun umbrella\, stool and basic painting supplies will be supplied.Bring a hat\, sun screen\, even a swimsuit… if you like. \nPaint\, brushes and easels included in class price.
